To our family, Winnipeg Old Country Sausage isn’t just our business, it’s our passion and our legacy. For three generations we’ve preserved our recipes, from our time-honoured seasonings to using the same natural smoke, we’ve instilled tradition and heritage in to our products. Based in Winnipeg, our quality meats can be found everywhere from large commercial chains to small mom and pop grocers across Manitoba. We also handle large-scale orders for social and community events, we just ask for 4 days’ notice to get the order together. Our In-House Lab Ensures Our Products are Safe and of the Highest Quality
While we believe in our time-honoured traditions and recipes, we are committed to ensuring the quality of our products. That’s why we’ve invested millions of dollars over the last few years to build a modern, in-house lab to test raw meat coming in, and our finished product going out. This way we can personally ensure the quality and safety of our products.
Our facility is Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) recognized, which means we utilize a systematic preventative approach to food safety. This means that we don’t just inspect our finished product, but we also analyze our entire production system to identify and eliminate all potential hazards before they arise.
